04:00 a.m. – 04:30 a.m. | Hotel Pick-Up in Cusco
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We will travel for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes through scenic Andean landscapes to the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast and prepare for the day’s adventure.
Journey to the ATV Base in Osefina
After breakfast, we will continue our trip by vehicle for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until we arrive at the ATV station in Osefina, the starting point of our exciting Red Valley and Rainbow Mountain experience.
ATV Adventure Through Red Valley
Upon arrival, our guide will provide a safety briefing and ATV instructions before beginning the ride. At an altitude of approximately 4,600 meters (15,091 feet) above sea level, you will receive all the necessary training to safely enjoy the adventure.
We will then begin an exciting ATV ride through the breathtaking landscapes of the Red Valley, ascending for approximately 30 minutes until reaching the main viewpoint at 5,100 meters (16,732 feet) above sea level. Along the route, you will witness dramatic red-colored mountains, spectacular valleys, and unforgettable panoramic scenery.
Hike Through Red Valley to Rainbow Mountain
From the Red Valley viewpoint, we will begin a scenic hike of approximately 20 to 30 minutes, passing through the most impressive viewpoints of the valley while enjoying the unique landscapes of the Peruvian Andes. This trail will lead us to the iconic Rainbow Mountain, one of Peru’s most spectacular natural attractions.
Explore Rainbow Mountain
Once we arrive at Rainbow Mountain, you will have free time to admire the colorful mineral layers, take incredible photos, and enjoy the stunning natural beauty surrounding this world-famous destination.
Return to the ATV Base & Lunch
After enjoying Rainbow Mountain, we will return along the same trail to the ATV station and descend by ATV to the parking area, where our private transportation will be waiting. We will then drive back to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
Return to Cusco
After lunch, we begin our return journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m., ending an unforgettable full-day ATV adventure through the spectacular Red Valley and Rainbow Mountain.
